Donald
F. Bracken, JR., P.E. - President
The president and founder of Bracken Engineering,
Inc., Don Bracken has over twenty years experience in civil
engineering. Don graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering
Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Massachusetts
in 1984. Don received his Professional Engineer License in Maine
in 1992 and in Massachusetts in 1993. He is also certified in
Massachusetts as a Land Surveyor in Training and a Certified
Soil Evaluator. Don is a member of the Massachusetts Association
of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers. Over the years, his responsibilities
have included project management, consulting engineering and
design engineering. Don regularly advocates for his clients
before various town boards and state agencies. He has been an
integral part of the successful completion of numerous large
development projects in Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod,
and Nantucket.

John
Farren,
P.L.S. - Professional Land Surveyor
John Farren joined Bracken Engineering, Inc. in 2006. His
extensive experience spans forty years in both the public and
private sectors. John served our country as a SeaBee in the
U.S. Navy, where his surveying career began. He received his
Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor License in 1988. John
worked over twenty years in public service: twelve years with
Norfolk County Engineering Department and ten years as the Town
Surveyor for the Town of Plymouth.

Jay
M. McKinnon,
E.I.T. - Project Engineer
Project Engineer Jay McKinnon has been with Bracken Engineering
Inc. since the beginning. Jay received his B.S. in Civil Engineering
from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 1993 and
received his Massachusetts Engineer in Training License in 1994
and his Soil Evaluator Certification in 1995. Jay is a member
of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil
Engineers. His extensive experience includes design work such
as septic system design, site plan design, sewer design, and
roadway design. Jay regularly represents clients before various
town boards.

Hutchings - Project Engineer
Donald
Hutchings joined Bracken Engineering, Inc. in 2004 as an undergraduate
engineering intern and has since graduated from Massachusetts
Maritime Academy with a B.S. in Facilities Engineering. Donald
also serves in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant and recently
returned to work after serving in Iraq. His experience includes
septic design, site plan design, Auto Cad drafting, and field
surveying.
